That’s what he said ebook: Men tell all

I often hear from women (and men) who struggle with online dating and it’s no surprise. It’s a really unnatural way for people to connect. But in an age where everyone is glued to their phones and consumed by their busy lives, online dating is one of the best ways to meet your match… IF you know how to create a profile that attracts the type of guy you need.

A little while ago, I interviewed over 100 men and got their thoughts on online dating and what they love about they profiles they see.

What they love:

  • Women with colourful dating profiles (by colourful I mean interesting, someone who looks like they have a fun, purposeful life)
  • Women who look approachable ( nobody likes to be rejected, so when your body language is closed, it can determine if a guy swipes left or right)
  • Women who give them something to talk about in a conversation starter

What they didn’t love:

  • Duck faces
  • Snapchat filters (they hide your face)
  • Photos of women in sunglasses (it’s hard to see your face)
  • Profiles with only one photo (men are visual creatures)

When it comes down to it, getting a match online is only the first step. What happens after the match is what really matters. Most women make the mistake of using dating apps as a texting forum, it’s not. It’s a dating forum and the objective of using them is to get a date. It’s not a place to have deep and meaningful conversations.

So if you’re looking to find your ‘one’ online, read this guide first. It’s jam packed with thoughts from single men who are actively using dating apps.

If you want to know:

  • What makes a guy swipe right
  • Why most men use dating apps
  • The mistakes women make in online dating
  • Best and worse conversation starters
